This is not an exhaustive list of my book recommendations, but some of those that I have highlighted in past emails. I like to read real paper books, but I also mix in audio books and ebooks that I check out via the library’s Libby app:

Listening

Check out my ongoing, full Apple Music Playlist. It has a wide range of styles as I teach Zumba, Hip Hop in addition to my regular listening preferences (and some are clean, some not).

Learning/Loving

  • Faster Way workouts - This is a whole nutrition and fitness program, but I am a member because I really like the workouts. This is a partner link and I do receive a small benefit if you were to sign up with this link.

  • Five Minute Journal - I was gifted one of these this spring as part of a coaching program I was taking part in. I love the simplicity of it and think it’s a great way to get started with some daily mindset work

  • Bumble & Bumble’s Pret a Powder Post workout dry shampoo spray. Go from the workout to work, smells great and it works!

  • Go Big or Go Home - By Sophia Lee’s Youtube home makeover series, one of my talented nieces is a key part of this team

  • Beauty Binder - Created by a fellow female coach who dreamed this up and made it happen!

  • Netflix Nike Fitness - If you already pay for Netflix you have some great fitness options (and new workouts added in March!)

  • Fringe Journals - I love a new journal and this is one of my favorite brands

  • The Glucose Goddess shares interesting information about balancing your blood sugar and how that impacts your health and weight.

  • Habit Tracker - It’s like a sticker chart for grown-up goals. Each little checkmark or X creates a tiny hit of dopamine in your brain, the more you track the more your brain wants to keep doing it!

  • Iowa Girl Eats is one of my favorite Midwestern bloggers. Almost every recipe we have tried from her site has gone over well. We like this one with a roast from our friends at Walk-Era Farms

  • Best Body from Dr. Rachel Paul - I love following Dr. Rachel on Instagram for quick and easy healthy meals
